Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst, Marketing (Customer.io Contractor) to support our GTM (Go-to-Market) Systems team during a critical email platform migration. You will work closely with the BizTech and Marketing Operations teams to consolidate our marketing email infrastructure onto Customer.io. You will support Customer.io system enhancements, execute data integration workflows,  and help establish operational best practices for the Customer.io platform.
What You’ll Do 
  • Configure and administer the Customer.io platform, including instance setup, campaign structure, segmentation, and tagging conventions
  • Execute SFDC Data In sync integration testing, validation, and production deployment
  • Manage data quality workflows including duplicate sizing, hard bounce suppression imports, and database health management
  • Partner with Data Engineering on Snowflake integrations and third-party platform connections (Splash, Zoom, LinkedIn, Meta)
  • Develop documentation, enablement materials, and training for stakeholders on Customer.io processes
  • 4 - 10 years of experience as a business systems analyst and/or marketing automation platform administration
  • You have hands-on experience with Customer.io, including campaign building, segmentation, workflow automation, and data management
  • You are proficient with Salesforce CRM and have experience with CRM-to-MAP data integrations and sync configurations
  • You have a strong understanding of GTM data processes including: identity resolution, database hygiene, preference management, and suppression handling
  • You are detail-oriented with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams across a complex migration timeline

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with Marketo and familiarity with migrating campaigns and workflows between marketing automation platforms
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations such as Splash, Zoom Webinar, Goldcast, LinkedIn Lead Gen, or Meta Lead Gen Forms.
